ABOUT REUT SDEROT
Reut Sderot was established over 30 years ago by a small group of families
committed to strengthening the city of Sderot. Today, Reut Sderot has grown into a well-established community organization serving over 2000 families.
The organization runs more than 15 programs across the city, addressing the needs of residents of all ages – from early childhood to seniors. These include daycare centers, youth clubs, Midrasha, elder care, and community resilience initiatives.
Reut Sderot focuses on education, active community engagement, and building personal resilience among the residents of Sderot. Through these efforts, the organization empowers individuals and strengthens the entire community to face challenges and create lasting positive change.

On October 7th, 2023, Sderot was one of the first cities attacked in the Hamas-led invasion, suffering tragic losses and immense trauma. Yet time and time again, the people of Sderot rise up with courage and resolve, determined to live here in peace and security.
